Job summary

Contour Software Pvt Ltd in Karachi is seeking a Senior SQA Analyst to ensure quality and timely releases for Landdev projects. You will contribute to test automation and collaborate with R&D teams across locations.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, API and performance testing, and building scalable automation frameworks using Playwright/Selenium, with experience in CI/CD and SQL. You will work from Contour Software Karachi office, aligning with global QA standards and delivering

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
5–8 years of professional QA experience.
Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and modern testing practices.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven experience in test strategy, test planning, test case design, and test data preparation.
Ability to identify, prioritize, and design test scenarios for automation.
Working knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or equivalents.
Experience with API testing and performance/load testing (Postman, JMeter).
Programming/scripting in Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete or similar.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Proficient in SQL for validation and testing.

Responsibilities

Design and architect end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium for scalability and reuse.
Develop and maintain robust automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback.
Define and enforce test automation standards and best practices.
Create test strategies, plans, cases, and data aligned with project requirements.
Identify, prioritize, and automate test scenarios to improve coverage and efficiency.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and scripts.
Execute test cycles, track defects, and collaborate with teams for resolution.
Perform API, functional, regression, and performance testing as required.
Continuously improve QA processes and tools.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality throughout lifecycle.
