Job summary

Contour Software in Lahore is seeking Interns/Fresh Grads to join the QA Automation team. You will progress from training to apprenticeship, with potential progression to a full-time role in the Contour Lahore office.

You will work on QA activities, write and execute automated tests, analyze defects, and collaborate with developers and analysts. Strong English communication and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.
• New/Recent/Soon to Graduate CS & Software Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle and QA concepts.
• Must have good programming/scripting knowledge and skills. Object-Oriented Programming with C# is preferred.
• Knowledge and exposure to writing and executing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of different application types/architecture.
• Ability to evaluate a system, understand complexities, identify weaknesses/bottlenecks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Work in the QA Automation team as an intern progressing from training to apprenticeship, potentially to a full-time role in the Contour Lahore office.
• Assist in planning and executing automated tests and contribute to test documentation.
• Analyze defects, report findings, and collaborate with developers and analysts to drive quality improvements.
• Support continuous improvement of the automation framework and testing processes.
