Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an automation engineer in Pakistan to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright, Core Java, and Selenium. You will build scalable automation for web apps with strong focus on quality and performance.

You will implement reusable components, run API tests, participate in test strategy, and integrate automation with CI/CD for continuous testing. 4+ years IT experience and 1+ year in Playwright are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience with automation testing.
• At least 1+ year hands-on Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong Java fundamentals and Selenium WebDriver expertise.
• Experience designing automation frameworks (POM, data-driven, etc.).
• Knowledge of API testing and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright, Java, and Selenium.
• Build scalable automation solutions for web apps prioritizing quality, reliability, and performance.
• Create reusable automation components, libraries, and utilities.
• Develop and execute automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Contribute to requirement analysis, test strategy, and automation planning.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
