Job summary

Zameen Developments is seeking a Senior Manager – Planning to lead the master schedule, progress tracking, and risk management for a major high-rise project in Lahore. You will coordinate with construction, design, procurement and cost control to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires advanced scheduling proficiency (Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong leadership to mentor planning engineers, with a focus on EVM, CPM, and schedule risk analysis.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling on high-rise or large-scale multi-story building projects.
• Primavera P6 is mandatory; MS Project experience required.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), CPM scheduling, and schedule risk analysis.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• PMP or PSP certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the master project schedule (baseline, look-ahead, and recovery) for the project.
• Break down high-rise construction sequences into detailed, resource-loaded schedules.
• Monitor progress against baselines; identify variances and critical path impacts.
• Prepare S-curves, progress reports, and dashboards for management and client reporting.
• Lead schedule risk analysis and mitigation/recovery planning for delays.
• Coordinate with Construction, Design, Procurement, and Cost Control teams for schedule integration.
• Mentor a team of planning engineers/schedulers.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Planning to lead project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for a large-scale high-rise/multi-story building project. You will be the backbone of project control — developing master schedules, tracking progress against baselines, identifying risks early, and ensuring the entire project team stays aligned on time and cost targets. This role works closely with Construction Managers, Design, Procurement, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update the master project schedule (baseline, look-ahead, and recovery schedules) using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Break down high-rise construction sequences (substructure, superstructure, MEP, façade, finishing) into detailed, resource-loaded schedules
• Monitor progress against baseline; identify variances, delays, and critical path impacts
• Prepare S-curves, progress reports, and dashboards for management and client reporting
• Lead schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation/recovery plans for delays
• Coordinate with Construction, Design, Procurement, and Cost Control teams to ensure schedule integration across all disciplines
• Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers/schedulers
• Support claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and delay analysis documentation when required
• Conduct regular schedule review meetings with site and client teams
• Ensure alignment between planning, budget (cost loading), and procurement timelines
• Evaluate contractor/subcontractor schedules for feasibility and integration into the master plan

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8–12+ years of experience in project planning/scheduling, with significant experience on high-rise or large-scale multi-story building projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing for vertical builds (tower cranes, formwork cycles, floor-by-floor progression, MEP/façade integration)
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path method (CPM), and schedule risk analysis
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
• PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or equivalent certification is a strong plus
