About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of a high-rise, multi-story building project, from foundation through handover. You will be the driving force on-site — coordinating contractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, managing schedules, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to code.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives on complex vertical construction and wants to leave a lasting mark on the city skyline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all on-site construction activities for a high-rise/multi-story building project
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site engineers to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and timelines
- Monitor project budget, track costs, and control variations/change orders
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations (OSHA or local equivalent), building codes, and quality standards
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and the client's project management team
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and risk assessments
- Manage procurement and delivery schedules for materials and equipment
- Resolve on-site conflicts, delays, and technical issues in real time
- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily logs, and progress reports
- Lead, mentor, and manage site supervisors, foremen, and construction crews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, with proven experience on high-rise or multi-story building projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, MEP coordination, and vertical construction methods (formwork, tower cranes, curtain walls, etc.)
- Working knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- PMP, CCM or equivalent certification is a plus
