Contour Software is seeking a mid-to-senior full-stack engineer with a backend focus to join our distributed team. You’ll own features end-to-end, work directly with the VP Engineering, and potentially grow into a team lead role managing offshore hires.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years (mid) or 5+ years (senior) in backend development, strong autonomy, and a solid understanding of performance optimization on large datasets. Remote work discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Backend-focused role needing strong backend skills and ability to own design specs
• Must be autonomous and deliver without constant hand-holding
• Experience with performance considerations for large analytical datasets
• Solid English communication
• PST time zone alignment preferred

Responsibilities
