Job summary

Contour Software in Karachi is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer-Team Lead with a strong blend of technical expertise and people leadership. The ideal candidate will manage software development and QA teams within a SaaS or cloud-based product environment, while actively engaging in architecture and code reviews.

You will work across distributed teams with North American counterparts, requiring exceptional English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years leading and managing development teams.
Strong experience with .NET (C#) and Microsoft SQL Server including database design and stored procedures.
Solid understanding of cloud-based development and SaaS architecture.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks; Vue.js is a plus.
Proficiency in object-oriented, asynchronous programming and multi-threading.
Experience designing web-based applications and APIs; ability to conduct meaningful PR reviews.
Strong English skills; ability to work with North American counterparts.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, fostering accountability and technical excellence.
Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Assist in hiring processes including candidate evaluation and onboarding.
Monitor team performance and communicate updates to onshore management.
Resolve conflicts and maintain a collaborative work environment.
Coordinate with onshore management to align priorities and direction.
Provide technical guidance and participate in PR reviews and architecture discussions.
Oversee agile planning, sprint execution, and delivery timelines.
Ensure adherence to software development standards and QA practices.
Balance technical responsibilities with people management in a large codebase.
