Job summary

Roche is seeking an Expert SDET and Solution Architect for open source test automation. You will lead architecture, define reusable frameworks, and drive strategic quality initiatives across product squads. Strong collaboration with AI/DevSecOps teams and enterprise QA governance is essential.

You will mentor SDETs, shape quality strategies, and ensure robust, scalable test platforms that support continuous delivery in healthcare software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10–14+ years progressive experience with 3+ years in Principal/Solution Architecture.
• Strong programming skills: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• CI/CD tooling knowledge: Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern open source test automation frameworks across multiple squads.
• Design robust automation architectures and reusable components.
• Lead stakeholder collaboration and manage quality tradeoffs.
• Mentor senior and junior SDETs and drive communities of practice.
