Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is seeking a data engineer to develop and implement ELT data pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator, enabling extraction, transformation, and integration across multiple systems.

The role focuses on designing scalable data models, deploying on-premises data warehouses and data lakes, and implementing strong data security with encryption and access controls. Collaboration with stakeholders ensures data quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in data transformation.
• ODI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of security principles, procedures, and practices.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ELT data pipelines using ODI to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems
• Design and develop efficient, scalable data models aligned to business needs
• Build and deploy on-premises data warehouses and data lakes using ODI and related tools
• Develop and implement data security measures — encryption, access control — to protect data from unauthorized access and misuse
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions addressing data quality and security needs
• Conduct data analysis, build data visualizations, and troubleshoot data issues across integrated systems
• Maintain data documentation and stay current on emerging data technologies and trends
