Job summary

NorthBay - Pakistan is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines using AWS, Redshift, Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL. You will design scalable data platforms, implement complex SQL, and work across analytics teams.

Hybrid work across Lahore/Karachi/Islamabad, with a focus on performance tuning, ETL processes, and data modeling to support business insights.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or Database Development.
• Proven experience with AWS Data Services and SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines, ETL workflows and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows on AWS.
• Write efficient SQL queries and build stored procedures in PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL.
• Work with Amazon Redshift for analytics and data processing.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning.
• Support data integration and transformation activities.
• Troubleshoot database and data pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with lead engineers on architecture and enhancements.
