Job summary

Connect Logistics seeks a Senior Network Engineer to lead reliability, architecture, and security across logistics operations. Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/SD-WAN architectures across multi-site warehouses and offices.

Configure Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, and VPNs; manage segmentation, ACLs, IDS/IPS. Mentor IT staff and drive disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 8+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network administration and engineering.
• In‑depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, NAT, QoS, DNS, and DHCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD‑WAN architectures across multi‑site warehouses and offices.
• Configure and support Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN controllers, and VPN solutions; manage segmentation, ACLs, IDS/IPS.
• Monitor network health with enterprise tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix); perform RCA with Wireshark/TCPdump.
• Maintain data center network infrastructure, redundancy, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and hybrid/cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS).
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link delivery, support, and SLAs.
• Create/update network diagrams, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans; mentor junior engineers.
