Job summary

You will manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Mikrotik, and monitor traffic with Wireshark and related tools.

Operate collaboratively with DevOps teams to ensure smooth operations, perform capacity planning, and contribute to disaster recovery planning.

• Monitor network traffic and performance using industry tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN and VPN infrastructures.
• Manage and monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Mikrotik, etc.).
• Implement and enforce network security policies (ACLs, IPS/IDS, VLANs, VPNs).
• Perform regular network capacity planning, tuning, and upgrades.
• Monitor network traffic using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for escalated network problems.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for network resilience.
• Maintain detailed network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and inventory.
