MergeStack is seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer to lead development efforts for high-traffic web applications in Lahore. You will own front-end and back-end tasks, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure web services.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express, GraphQL, and modern tooling, with opportunities to guide a talented team onsite in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a MERN Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of React, Vue.js, Redux, Redux Saga, React Query, Hook Form, HookState, Material UI, and Tailwind.
• Deep knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and GraphQL.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with consumer web development for high-traffic, public-facing applications.
• Capability to manage and lead a team of developers.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Experience in software development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless performance across different browsers and devices.
• Develop and implement front-end architecture that brings user interface concepts to life.
• Tackle technical issues head-on, offering solutions that keep our projects on track.
• Create detailed design documentation to guide development.
• Dive into both client and server-side development.
• Create secure RESTful-based web services using XML, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery.
