Job summary

Datamatics Technologies is seeking an experienced Master Data Management Lead to drive domain definitions, create a golden-record model, and design robust matching and survivorship rules. You will evaluate MDM platforms, oversee reference data and hierarchy versioning, and shape governance with SLAs and quality metrics across investor, citizen or licensee registries.

Strong communication with business owners is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in master data management with at least two full MDM implementations.
• Deep knowledge of deterministic vs probabilistic matching, thresholds, and precision/recall trade-offs; ability to explain false-match risk to business.
• Arabic-script name and address matching, transliteration variance and name-order conventions.
• Hands-on with at least one commercial MDM platform (Semarchy xDM, Informatica MDM, Ataccama ONE, Tamr or equivalent) and ability to compare them.
• Reference data management and hierarchy versioning.
• Experience with citizen/investor/licensee registries is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate domain definition workshops.
• Design the golden-record model per domain: identity attributes, source trust ranking, survivorship rules by source authority and recency.
• Design matching logic: deterministic matching on verified identifiers as the primary path, with transliteration-aware probabilistic matching on Arabic and English name and address data as the secondary path.
• Lead the MDM technology evaluation.
• Design reference data management: controlled lists, code sets and hierarchies (licence types, minerals/commodities, regions, inspection categories) with versioning.
• Define the stewardship operating model: review queues, decision rights, SLAs, and the quality measures monitored (match rate, duplicate rate, steward backlog).
• Define how golden keys are applied at silver and published in gold, and the boundary on write-back to operational systems
