Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking a leader to drive enterprise-wide Data Governance, ensuring the organization's data is accurate, trusted, secure, accessible, well-defined, and compliant. The role will establish governance frameworks, standards and controls across business, technology, analytics and AI environments, positioning data as a strategic asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy and framework across business, technology, analytics and AI environments.
• Define data ownership, stewardship and accountability across domains.
• Govern critical data elements across telecom domains.
• Establish enterprise data quality standards, KPIs and controls (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).
• Oversee metadata management, data catalog, glossary, dictionary and data lineage capabilities.
• Define master and reference data governance and authoritative sources/systems of record.
• Ensure data classification, privacy, protection, retention and disposal standards.
• Ensure regulatory/compliance governance aligned with PTA, legal and internal requirements.
• Provide governance oversight for analytics and AI initiatives ensuring data is owned, authorized, classified and traceable.
• Embed governance requirements into new systems and transformations.
• Establish governance KPIs, dashboards and periodic assessments of data quality and policy adoption.
• Drive cross-functional data issue resolution and adoption of data-driven culture.
• Represent governance value at senior-management forums and monitor progress via DI KPIs/OKRs.

Lead enterprise-wide Data Governance to ensure Organizational data is accurate, trusted, secure, accessible, well-defined and compliant. Establish governance frameworks, standards and controls across business, technology, analytics and AI environments while positioning data as a strategic business asset.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Data Governance Strategy & Framework: Develop and implement the Enterprise Data Governance framework, AI Governance, Policies, standards and roadmap.
• Data Ownership, Stewardship & Accountability: Establish clear Data Ownership, Data Stewardship and accountability across business and functional domains.
• Critical Telecom Domain Data Governance: Define and govern Critical Data Elements across key Telecom domains.
• Data Quality Management & Controls: Establish enterprise Data Quality standards, KPIs and controls covering accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness and integrity.
• Metadata, Catalog & Data Lineage Governance: Govern enterprise Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary and Data Lineage capabilities.
• Master & Reference Data Governance: Establish Master and Reference Data governance and define authoritative data sources / Systems of Record.
• Data Classification, Privacy & Lifecycle Governance: Ensure appropriate Data Classification, access, privacy, protection, retention, archival and disposal standards.
• Regulatory & Compliance Data Governance: Ensure Data compliance with applicable PTA, Government, legal, regulatory and internal Data Governance requirements.
• Analytics, Digital Transformation & AI Governance: Provide Data Governance oversight for Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Digital Transformation, Advanced Analytics and AI/ML initiatives. Ensure data used for Analytics and AI is appropriately owned, authorized, classified, traceable, quality-assured and compliant.
• Data Governance by Design: Embed Data Governance requirements into new systems, integrations, migrations and technology transformation programs.
• Governance Performance, Controls & Assurance: Establish governance KPIs, compliance dashboards and periodic assessments to monitor Data Quality, ownership, metadata, lineage and policy adoption.
• Data Issue & Cross-Functional Governance: Drive resolution of cross-functional data ownership, definition, quality and compliance issues.
• Data Governance Culture & Adoption: Promote Data Governance awareness and establish a strong data-driven culture across Business and Technology functions.
• Executive Stakeholder & Strategic Data Management: Represent Data Governance and the strategic value of enterprise data at senior-management forums
• Monitor performance and communication: Define and manage DI KPIs/OKRs, track project timelines and delivery status, and provide regular progress updates to departments on their requests and on overall data-governance and DI initiatives.
