Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architect roles, or similar.
• Strong understanding of conceptual, logical and physical modeling.
• Experience with dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and ER design.
• Fluent in SQL and relational database concepts.

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain scalable data models supporting enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.
• Develop and maintain data models for data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical platforms.
• Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, and business rules.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and application teams.
• Develop dimensional models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.
• Ensure data models follow organizational standards, data governance, security, and quality guidelines.
• Analyze existing databases and recommend improvements to data structures and performance.
• Support data integration, ETL/ELT, and reporting requirements through effective data modeling.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data relationships, redundancies, and quality issues.
• Maintain data model documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries.
• Participate in database and data warehouse performance optimization.
• Ensure consistency between logical and physical data models across different platforms.

Requirements:

• 8-15 years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension Modeling.
• Strong SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Snowflake, or similar.
• Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Enterprise Data Platforms.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner, or similar.
• Strong understanding of normalization, denormalization, indexing, keys, constraints, and database optimization.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
