Job summary

Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Ltd. invites a seasoned banking leader to head Deposits, Wealth & Segments within Retail Banking.

You will define and execute Shariah-compliant strategies to grow deposits, expand wealth products, and tailor offerings for priority segments while ensuring strong governance. The role requires 15+ years in retail banking with leadership experience, a degree in business/finance, and a track record of deposit growth and product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Banking, or a related discipline.
• MBA, Master’s degree, or relevant professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the deposits, wealth, and segment strategy, annual business plan, operating model, and multi-year growth roadmap.
• Own deposit portfolio growth, portfolio mix, stability, and funding economics.
• Lead the design and lifecycle management of Shariah-compliant deposit products and propositions.
• Develop wealth and investment propositions, including Takaful, mutual funds, and investment products.
• Define and execute preferred segment strategies for freelancers, gig workers, women, youth, students, and other priority customer segments.
• Lead remittance and Non-Resident Pakistani (NRP) banking propositions and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Digital, Payments, Loyalty, CX, Technology, and Business Banking teams to optimize customer journeys and cross-franchise opportunities.
• Own budgets, forecasts, pricing recommendations, executive reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, AML/CFT requirements, customer fairness standards, and Shariah governance.
