Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to develop server applications and RESTful APIs for multiple platforms. You will ensure security, performance, and bug-free delivery while mentoring juniors and strengthening the team.

The role requires hands-on experience with Spring Boot, MicroServices, PostgreSQL on AWS, and collaborating with distributed teams. You will write tests and contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate and MicroServices.
• Proven RESTful API development and enterprise web apps.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS environments.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix, shell scripting and version control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and estimate tasks.
• Write code and unit tests for server applications.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor juniors.
• Ensure security and performance of server apps.
• Lead and participate in design and coding reviews.
• Keep issue tracking up to date and communicate status to clients.
