Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the design and development of high-performance Java applications. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and adopt new technologies to deliver scalable solutions.

You will ensure code quality through reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD, while aligning technical decisions with business goals. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to collaborate with a global Top 1% of talent.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Java.
Strong understanding of SOLID and clean code for scalable solutions.
Experience with code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong unit and integration testing with high code coverage.
IT infrastructure knowledge.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of complex Java applications aligned with business needs.
Mentor junior and semi-senior developers to raise technical excellence.
Make key architectural decisions for software projects.
Oversee code reviews and enforce high-quality standards.
Evaluate and adopt new Java technologies and best practices.
Provide technical insights to project managers and stakeholders.
