Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js) to lead backend development across multiple platforms. You will design RESTful APIs, ensure security and performance, and mentor junior engineers while driving team strength.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional experience, strong JavaScript skills, and proficiency with Node.js frameworks. A Bachelor's in CS/SE and knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of professional industry experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript technologies.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks ExpressJS/NestJS.
• Knowledge and experience in writing backend components and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of security standards and compliances.
• Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring high test coverage (≥90%).
• Familiar with version control and collaboration tools.
