Job summary

Ecojob is seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement features, fix bugs, and optimize performance while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with project managers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong Java/Kotlin skills and extensive Android SDK knowledge, with experience in third-party libraries and APIs, in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Fix bugs and improve application performance
• Mentor and lead a team of junior developers
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
