Job summary

induscon is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil) for highway/transport projects. You will inspect sites, collect condition data for design reviews, assess pavement damages, and approve contractor programs, drawings, and setting out works. Prepare reports and certify progress payments while maintaining records and diaries.

Ideal candidates hold a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, preferably an MSc in Highway/Transportation Engineering, with 8–10 years in relevant experience and 10–15 years

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering is required; MSc in Highway/Transportation preferred.
• 10–15 years overall field experience with 8–10 years in relevant highway projects.
• Experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the site and collect condition data for design reviews and changes.
• Provide details about existing pavement, damages and assessment.
• Approve contractor’s work program, method statements, material sources, etc.
• Prepare and issue reports as defined.
• Review and recommend approval and/or issue working drawings and setting out of works.
• Take measurements and maintain measurement records.
• Maintain records, correspondence, and diaries.
• Certify work volume and recommend interim certificates for progress payments.
• Proceed and implement the project per specifications and contracts.
