Apertera is seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer to build the next-generation translation engine using GenAI and LLM technologies. You will join an R&D team reporting to the VP of AI Innovation to prototype, implement, and apply state-of-the-art algorithms in translation use cases.

The role requires hands-on deep learning and NLP experience, with strong skills in Python and cloud platforms, and a track record of delivering GenAI projects in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Master in CS, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering; PhD preferred.
• 4+ years of industry experience developing GenAI and LLM applications.
• Context engineering, RAG, SFT experience.

Responsabilités

• Research and implement state-of-the-art LLM techniques including continued pre-training, supervised fine-tuning, and RLHF.
• Collaborate with advisors to design tech roadmaps for GenAI products.
• Develop prototypes of GenAI/LLM applications for translation use cases.
• Stay updated with GenAI/LLM advances by attending conferences and publishing results.
• Work with DevOps, software, design and product teams to deliver high-quality GenAI solutions.
• Communicate technical strategies across teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
