Job summary

Apertera seeks a Data Engineering Team Lead to guide a specialized team at the intersection of Big Data, Global Communications, and Generative AI. You will oversee the enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring multilingual datasets—TMs, glossaries, and metadata—are structured, searchable, and optimized for translators, MT searches, and ML models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL, and cloud data platforms (AWS S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue).
• Knowledge of GenAI lifecycle and RAG indexing.
• Experience with TMX/TBX and CAT workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the data warehouse roadmap for multilingual datasets.
• Lead data governance, cataloging, and a user-friendly data interface.
• Oversee ML/GenAI integration, vector databases, and semantic search indexing.
• Mentor a cross-functional team across data, localization, and AI research.
