ZAPTA Technologies in Lahore is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to own multiple software products and client projects. This hands-on leadership role covers architecture, development, QA, deployment, cloud, and production support.

The ideal candidate will guide cross-functional teams, craft scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and collaborate with international clients (including US-based projects) to deliver reliable, high-quality software across stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with leadership.
• Hands-on frontend and backend development experience.
• Solid understanding of architecture, APIs, databases, and system design.
• Cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, deployment and production environments.
• QA, testing, security, performance, and scalability expertise.
• Experience across multiple tech stacks and adapting to projects.
• International clients experience, US-based a plus.

Responsabilités

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of products and projects.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
• Hands-on frontend and backend development as needed.
• Lead technical planning, development, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Project Management to deliver.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
• Collaborate with international clients on requirements and solutions.
