Navigatorhr in Lahore is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer – Mobile & Web to lead the technical direction of our platform, spanning frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.

The role requires 9+ years of experience, expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, React.js/Next.js, TypeScript, and hands-on mobile development with React Native. You will mentor, collaborate with international stakeholders, and own features from concept through production.

Qualifications

Senior Full-Stack Developer – Mobile & Web

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Timings: 12PM to 8PM Monday to Friday
Work Location: Model Town, Lahore
Salary: PKR 400,000 – 500,000/month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer – Mobile & Web to join a fast-growing European startup connecting students and flexible workers with local businesses in Belgium.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across web and mobile development, with the ability to take ownership of major technical systems, contribute to architecture decisions, mentor developers, and work directly with international stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the technical direction of the platform across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, databases, mobile applications, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and contribute to architecture decisions across Node.js, Nest.js, React.js/Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
• Design, build, and maintain secure REST APIs, authentication, and authorization systems.
• Work with JWT, OAuth, and RBAC.
• Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Optimize database queries, indexing, caching, and overall application performance.
• Integrate third-party services including payments, notifications, payroll, e-signing, and ID verification.
• Lead cloud deployments and scalability initiatives.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance, pairing, and problem-solving.
• Break down complex technical requirements into clear, achievable development tasks.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Take ownership of features from concept through production.
• Establish development standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement AI coding tools where they can improve development speed without compromising quality.
• Make informed build-vs-buy decisions.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed international team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 9+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong experience working with Node.js, preferably Nest.js.
• Strong production experience with React.js and preferably Next.js.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, API lifecycle, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• 5+ years of React Native experience.
• 5+ years of mobile application development experience across both iOS and Android.
• Experience with cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar.
• Experience leading a team or taking ownership of major technical systems.
• Proven experience mentoring and supporting other developers.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working with an English-speaking, distributed international team.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership without constant supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

AI & Modern Development Practices

• Comfortable using AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar as part of the daily development workflow.
• Able to evaluate when AI tools should and should not be used.
• Capable of reviewing AI-generated code with the same level of rigor as human-written code.
• Strong focus on code quality, security, maintainability, and performance.
