Job summary

NorthBay Solutions LLC seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer in a hybrid Pakistan-based role, specializing in React.js and Python/Node.js to design, build, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications.

You will own both frontend and backend development, leveraging AWS services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices. The position offers a hybrid work model across major Pakistani cities and opportunities for technical growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong backend development experience using Python and/or Node.js.
• Hands-on frontend experience with React.js for building responsive and scalable user interfaces.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Practical exposure to AWS services, including Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
• Understanding of microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and Python/Node.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python and/or Node.js and integrate them with AWS infrastructure.
• Develop reusable, responsive React.js components and follow frontend architecture best practices.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets where required.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across frontend and backend.
• Stay current with modern web development, Python, Node.js, React.js, and cloud technologies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer (React.js & Python/Node.js) to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will be hands-on across frontend and backend development, with strong experience in React.js, Python and/or Node.js, and AWS-based architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong backend development expertise using Python and/or Node.js
• Hands-on frontend experience with React.js for building responsive and scalable user interfaces
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development, component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Practical exposure to AWS services, including Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL
• Understanding of microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Docker, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
