You will build interfaces under a real performance budget, own accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, and work directly with users when access is possible.

Deep TypeScript and CSS skills, plus the ability to explain measurable performance gains and to work without a designer, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Deep TypeScript and CSS.
• Measurably faster interfaces and how you measured it.
• Accessibility experience, including a screen reader you have used.
• Comfort working without a designer, and with one when present.

Responsibilities

• Build interfaces against a real performance budget, measured on the slowest supported device.
• Own accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, tested rather than asserted.
• Work directly with the client’s users when we can get access to them.
• Decide when a framework earns its weight and when it does not.
