Job summary

Jobzlelo is seeking a qualified accounting professional to ensure timely entries, comprehensive financial records and strict adherence to cut-off dates. The role involves posting monthly accruals and provisions and preparing accurate trial balances with variance analysis for management.

You will align intercompany reconciliations with the head office and related entities, monitor FX effects on transactions and ensure correct application of rates.

Qualifications

• CA/ ACCA/ ICMA or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance from a reputed university.

Responsibilities

• Make regular accounting entries on time and ensure comprehensiveness of all financial transactions.
• Post monthly accruals and provisions with proper cut-off.
• Prepare and analyze trial balances, variances, and mitigate unusual balances.
• Prepare financial statements and interpret results for senior management.
• Adjust open items in intercompany, customer & vendor ledgers for accurate reporting.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations with head office and related group entities.
• Track foreign exchange impact on transactions and ensure correct application of rates.
