  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit, intercompany or shared services.
  • Strong intercompany accounting, reconciliations and month-end close knowledge.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end intercompany processing with cross charges, mark-ups, allocations and journals.
  • Support month-end close activities for ICO and GL with accurate postings and reconciliations.
  • Prepare intercompany P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve mismatches.
  • Support ICT volume submission and align financial postings with Supply Chain data.
  • Manage ICO-related inventory, COGS, transfer pricing, margins and FX impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with GSK policies, controls and local statutory requirements.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries from Markets, Supply Chain, SSC, Tax and Finance teams promptly.
  • Prepare schedules and analyses for internal, external, statutory and audit reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvements, standardization and automation across ICO, ICT and reconciliations.

Job description

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst –ICO for the MEA Regional Hub in Karachi. The role is responsible for accurate and timely intercompany processing, reconciliation, month-end close support, reporting and controls, while working with Finance, Supply Chain and Market stakeholders to resolve ICO issues and ensure compliance with GSK policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end intercompany processing, including cross charges, mark-ups, allocations, accruals and standard journals.
  • Support month-end close activities for ICO and GL, ensuring postings, reconciliations and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and review intercompany P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigate mismatches and follow up with counterparties for timely resolution.
  • Support ICT volume submission, review and analysis, ensuring alignment with financial postings and Supply Chain data.
  • Manage ICO-related inventory, COGS, transfer pricing, mark-ups, margins, FX impacts and variance analysis for assigned markets/entities.
  • Ensure compliance with GSK policies, ICFW controls, local statutory requirements and agreed SLAs, maintaining required evidence for audit purposes.
  • Resolve stakeholder queries from Markets, Supply Chain, Financial Controllers, Shared Services, Tax and other Finance teams in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for internal, external, statutory and audit reporting related to intercompany processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement, standardization, automation and simplification across ICO, ICT and reconciliation activities.
  • Support knowledge sharing, team collaboration, projects and ad-hoc controllership or service delivery activities as required.
Education, Experience and Skills

Degree in Finance / Accounting; professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ICMA or equivalent preferred. 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit, intercompany or shared services. Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, controls and stakeholder management. Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Fluent in written and spoken English.
