Job summary

GSK in Pakistan invites applications for an ACCA Trainee in the Site Finance team. You will support financial analysis, month-end close, and reporting while learning IFRS and controls.

Fresh to 2 years’ experience, SAP experience, strong Excel and communication will help you grow through the ACCA journey in a global biopharma company.

Qualifications

• ACCA (Qualified/ Part Qualified) is required for this role.
• Fresh to 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and basic understanding of IFRS.
• Comfortable working with financial reporting tools and data extraction.
• Demonstrated problem solving and a proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and preparing analysis of actual vs planned spend.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and routine management reports.
• Help maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls.
• Support in preparing plans/ budgets
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances with business partners.
• Support audit and tax requests by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and use systems to automate routine tasks.
