Job summary

vasl-talent is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator for an on-site role in Islamabad, working at Plaza ONE, near DHA Phase 2. You will prepare cost estimates and bids for fencing projects, detailing labor and material costs for multiple simultaneous bids.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 5+ years as a construction estimator, and strong proficiency in Excel, CAD tools, Bluebeam, Planswift, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in fencing.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and methods for fencing projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project plans and specs to determine material and labor requirements for fencing projects.
• Adhere to pre-existing procedures for accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with owner, crew leads, and team to develop bids and proposals.
• Communicate with clients and team to gather information and answer questions about estimates.
• Maintain records of estimates and bid proposals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and building codes.
