Job summary

Zong 5G is seeking a Senior Executive Converged Voice Core to manage nationwide Network Operations & Maintenance with a 24/7 on-site shift roster. The role focuses on end-to-end service and node availability across CS & IMS Core networks, ensuring high uptime and rapid response to incidents.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance across LDI, FLL, and national operator domains, conducting health checks, and performing complex hardware/software tasks on core platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering from a HEC-recognized university.

Responsibilities

• To ensure CS & IMS Core network availability at 100% from platforms, services, applications, configuration, and all network interfaces perspective
• To perform and coordinate all maintenance activities, expansions, and service assurance for LDI, FLL & National Operators (OMOs/PSTN) domains as per SOPs and requirements
• To perform systems and services routines and health checks for maintaining systems performance and availability
• Perform highly skilled hardware and software-related tasks and definitions which may include any core network platform
• Troubleshooting and analysis of reported issues and taking necessary improvement measures by coordinating with other departments, teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Responsible for 24/7 on-site shift-based Core Network Operations & Maintenance to ensure nationwide service and node availability.
• Preparation, implementation, and continuous improvement of emergency/disaster recovery plans and their periodic testing as per applicable and approved scope.
• Coordination with vendors for resolution of issues, follow-up, and their evaluation. Keep an updated record of Core network inventory (installed base), spares inventory, R&R process, asset tagging, and related requirements
• Perform special network monitoring and troubleshooting tasks as and when assigned
• Perform on-site and on-call activities as and when required
• To ensure Customer Complaints are resolved within TAT and count targets, and ensure that all network services are fault-free
