You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of new nodes and projects. The role requires 1–2 years in CS core networks, familiarity with CS call flows per 3GPP/GSMA/IEEE/ETSI, and strong troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of CS core network experience.
• Experience with CS core elements: MSC, STPs, SVC, HLR.
• Knowledge of CS call flows per 3GPP/GSMA/IEEE/ETSI.
• Proficient in network monitoring and Wireshark usage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication with junior technical customers.

One of the leading Chinese technology companies is looking for an experienced CS Core Planning Assistant Engineer based in Islamabad, with experience in CS core network monitoring, network design, project support integration, commissioning, and new nodes acceptance.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor network utilization and growth trends across CS core network elements.
• Understand end-to-end HLD and LLD for CS core products (MSC, STPs, SVC & HLR).
• Coordinate with telecom vendors (Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, Ericsson), contractors, and internal departments to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Take responsibility for network safety.
• Support project integration, commissioning, implementation, and new nodes acceptance.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow.

Skill Requirements

• Familiarity with basic communication and data communication knowledge.
• Knowledge of CS core call flows and scenarios as per 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using internal/external tracing tools, Wireshark, etc.
• Knowledge of CS nodes (VMSC, GMSC, OSS, HSS, SBC) and protocols (SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7/SIGTRAN/M3UA/MTP3).
• Effective communication with technical customers (junior level) regarding technical solutions, project plans, and progress.
• Ability to solve technical problems through accurate analysis and location.
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Experience Required: 1–2 years in the core network field, especially in the CS domain.
