Job summary

FirmaTRUST is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Administrator to join our Punjab-based team in Lahore. You will manage AWS and Azure environments, perform day-to-day operations, monitoring, and automation in a mixed production setup.

The role requires hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/XEN/KVM), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and on-premises to cloud migrations. Strong scripting and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior Cloud Administrator with hands-on AWS/Azure experience.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, XEN, KVM).
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations and IT transformations.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cloud, Azure & AWS in a mixed production environment.
• Handle day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of Cloud environments.
• Proficient with AWS IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, and Azure Virtual Machines, storage, networks, WAFs.
• Experience with open-source monitoring tools (CheckMK, Cacti, PRTG, OSSIM).
• Collaborate with clients and act as a technical lead when needed.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Administrator who can provide solutions and be able to work independently and a good team player.

• Responsible for administering Cloud, Azure & AWS on a mixed production environment.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of Cloud environments.
• Proficient with Amazon Web Service (AWS) administration (AWS SSO, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, WAF, ACM, SMS)
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure and M365 administration (Microsoft Entra ID/SSO, RBAC & PIM, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure WAF)
• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations and working with Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
• NFS/SAMBA, Azure Files, GFS2, NIS/Autofs, puppet/automation tools, GIT/JIRA/Confluence.
• Extensive experience with virtualization: VMware-ESXi/Hyper-V/XEN/KVM.
• Proficiency and experience with NAS/SAN and iSCSI/NFS/CIFS technologies is required.
• Experience with open-source packages monitoring tools like CheckMK, Cacti, PRTG, OSSIM, GANGRILLA.
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, LDAP/NIS, SMTP and SNMP.
• Proven experience in one of programming languages: Python/Perl, PowerShell and Shell Scripting, with experience implementing automation using shell scripting and other related tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as he/she will be interacting with clients on a regular basis
• Experience serving as technical lead a definite plus
