Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer to ensure SLA adherence and lead critical issues. You will design, build, and manage cloud automation, support CI/CD pipelines, and deploy applications in cloud environments.

The role requires strong Linux, networking, and automation tool experience, with a focus on security, scalability, and collaboration with developers. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
• 3–7 years of related experience in the professional industry.
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure, CloudFormation, Ansible, Subversion, Docker, or relevant tools.
• Strong experience administering cloud-hosted environments on AWS or Azure.
• DevOps practices and automation tooling familiarity.
• Hands-on with Microsoft tools (TFS, TeamCity).
• Knowledge of virtualization and data center requirements.
• Hands-on with Ansible and Chef automation tools.
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD toolchains (Kubernetes).
• Scripting: Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell.
• Linux distributions familiarity (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to SLAs as per contract.
• Lead urgent issues and projects; communicate status and allocate staffing as needed.
• Design, build, and manage cloud automation and Puppet-related modules.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and load balancing issues.
• Maintain clear process methodologies and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with development to implement CI/CD infrastructure.
• Create and maintain environments for QA, development, etc.

• Take the lead on urgent issues and projects, ensuring statuses are properly communicated and appropriate staffing resources are assigned as required
• Cloud and Puppet Automation: Design, build, support, and manage engineering activities related to cloud initiatives. Develop, design, and support automation modules using puppet technologies

Requirements

• Strong experience in the administration of cloud-hosted environments on at least one popular cloud IAAS platform such as Azure and AWS
• DevOps - familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling
• Hands-on expertise on Microsoft products. (TFS, TeamCity)
• Virtualization - Facility with the techniques used to virtualize servers, applications, and desktops. Knowledge of the data center requirements to implement each technology
• Must have hands-on working with the automation tool i.e. Ansible, Chef
• Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Experience with CI/CD toolchain (Kubernetes)
• Basic level scripting experience (Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell)
• Experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
