Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Operations Specialist to manage financial records, reconcile 10+ accounts, and oversee payments to vendors and customers. The role emphasizes Xero, Excel, and Google Sheets, with a focus on improving systems and automation while handling confidential information.

You will track trip profitability, maintain HubSpot data alignment with the books, and produce monthly and quarterly reports. This is a remote role requiring availability during U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting operations, or financial analysis.
• Strong Xero experience including reconciliation, coding, and reporting.
• Experience reconciling 10+ accounts monthly and quarterly.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, pivots).
• Experience with international payments and foreign currency transactions.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly/quarterly reconciliations across 10+ accounts and platforms.
• Review and categorize expenses in Xero.
• Identify duplicates, missing transactions, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Track vendor and customer payments and payment status.
• Coordinate domestic and international payments and foreign currency handling.
• Manage payments via Convera GlobalPay and related systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
