Codup is seeking a Senior Executive – Finance Operations to lead end-to-end bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes strong internal controls and accuracy in supplier payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations experience.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial record-keeping.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel for financial data and reports.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to and use AI tools to improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, approvals, and posting in the accounting system.
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoice verification, approvals, and posting in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure payments are up-to-date.
• Assist in petty cash reimbursements and employee expense claims.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings for payables and receivables.
• Contribute to improving AP/AR processes and internal controls.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.

The Senior Executive – Finance Operations will play a key role in managing end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of all supplier payments, maintains strong financial controls, and supports overall accounting operations while adhering to internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, approvals, and posting inthe accounting system.
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including invoice verification, approvals, and postingin the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, identifying and resolvingdiscrepancies promptly.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and review aging reports regularly.
• Assist in managing petty cash reimbursements and employee expense claims.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities related to payables andreceivables.
• Contribute to the improvement of AP/AR processes and internal controls.

• Good working knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting software, particularlyQuickBooks Online.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to work with financial data and reports.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to adapt to and effectively use AI tools to improve accounting andfinance processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively, and maintain accuracy infinancial records.
