Job description

The PMO is seeking a Senior BI Analyst / Multi-System Integration Specialist to own the end-to-end data and reporting architecture supporting Specialist Services. This role goes beyond dashboard building — it requires designing the data pipelines, models, and governance that connect multiple enterprise systems (including D365 F&O, SharePoint/Power Platform, and project-level data sources) into a single, trustworthy reporting layer, and using that foundation to deliver executive-grade, project, and manufacturing dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the data integration architecture connecting D365 F&O, Dataverse, SharePoint, and other operational systems into Power BI, selecting the right method for each use case (native connector, Data Export Service/Azure SQL, Synapse Link, Power Automate)
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable data models (star schema) that serve as the single source of truth across corporate, project, and manufacturing reporting
• Establish and enforce data governance standards: naming conventions, refresh cadences, version control, row-level security, and documentation
• Identify and resolve data quality issues at the source system level, working directly with IT/ERP teams rather than patching around bad data downstream
• Design and build advanced, innovative dashboards for executive/corporate reporting, project controls (EVM, schedule, cost), and manufacturing/production performance
• Advise leadership on the most effective visualization approaches for different audiences and decision types — not limited to standard chart types
• Build complex DAX measures and Power Query transformations to support dynamic, multi-dimensional reporting
• Own the technical roadmap for the PMO's reporting suite as it scales across divisions

Stakeholder & Technical Leadership

• Act as the primary technical point of contact between PMO, IT/ERP, and business stakeholders on all things data and reporting
• Translate ambiguous business requirements from senior leadership into clear technical specifications
• Mentor junior analysts and set best-practice standards for the wider reporting function
• Provide input on Power Platform licensing, Dataverse provisioning, and infrastructure decisions that affect reporting capability

Required Experience & Skills

• 6+ years in Business Intelligence / data analytics roles, with 3+ years focused specifically on Power BI at an advanced level
• Demonstrated experience integrating Power BI with ERP systems, ideally D365 F&O (Data Export Service, Synapse Link, or Dataverse virtual tables)
• Expert-level DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling
• Strong SQL and experience working with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, or similar)
• Proven track record designing data architecture across multiple source systems, not just building reports against a single dataset
• Strong data cleansing and root-cause troubleshooting skills across disparate data sources
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting directly to senior leadership and translating technical constraints into business terms
• Microsoft Power BI certification required; Azure Data Fundamentals or similar a plus
• Experience in EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or project-based organisations
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse architecture
• Understanding of project controls concepts (EVM, WBS, milestone tracking)
• Experience setting up Conditional Access / auth troubleshooting for enterprise data connections
