INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Power BI Specialist to transform enterprise data into insightful dashboards and KPI scorecards. You will modernize reporting by building scalable Power BI solutions with robust data models and DAX calculations.

This role requires 5–10 years of BI experience, strong SQL/T‑SQL skills, and experience migrating legacy reports to Power BI. International travel may be required; join a team focused on digital industrial solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics or related field.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL & T‑SQL.
• Experience migrating legacy reporting into modern Power BI environments.
• Strong data warehousing, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), ETL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and modernize legacy reporting, building interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Develop data models, DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.
• Integrate Power BI with SQL Server and cloud data sources, manage ETL.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

• Analyze and modernize legacy reporting solutions, including SSRS, Excel, Crystal Reports, and similar platforms, by developing interactive and scalable Power BI dashboards.
• Design and develop efficient data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query (M) transformations to support high-performance analytics and reporting.
• Integrate Power BI with SQL Server and other relational or cloud-based data sources while managing data onboarding, cleansing, validation, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytical solutions.
• Optimize Power BI datasets and dashboards for scalability, maintainability, and performance through techniques such as query folding, aggregations, and incremental refresh.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data models, transformation logic, and dashboard user guides.
• Work closely with customer technical teams to support solution delivery, with occasional local and international travel as required.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• 5-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and T-SQL.
• Proven experience migrating legacy reporting platforms such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Excel into modern Power BI reporting environments.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional data modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas), and ETL frameworks.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs, into unified analytics solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent) is required.
• Additional certifications in Azure, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence technologies will be considered an advantage.
