Job summary

Xavor Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer to lead cloud and infrastructure design, governance, and modernization in a security-sensitive environment.

You will shape architecture, resilience, data protection, and endpoint management across Microsoft Azure and related technologies. The role emphasizes strategic planning, collaboration with security and compliance teams, and leadership of critical transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Proven experience in enterprise systems engineering and infrastructure architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience managing enterprise endpoint management and device security platforms.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security hardening, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms and enterprise data center technologies.
• Experience implementing high-availability and business continuity solutions.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure built on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and govern enterprise cloud architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
• Lead the strategy and lifecycle management of storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Architect and manage endpoint management platforms, device security, and compliance controls.
• Implement infrastructure solutions that align with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Design high-availability and fault-tolerant systems to support mission-critical business operations.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and utilization while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with security teams to strengthen cloud security posture and risk management capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements and modernization opportunities.
• Lead cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, and platform optimization projects.
• Develop technical standards, documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and operational teams.
