Job summary

ACME One is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Lahore to lead architecture and hands-on delivery for enterprise applications. You will drive modern cloud-based solutions using .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL, while guiding teams and engaging with clients.

The role emphasizes Azure cloud architecture, security, and scalable design, with a focus on modern AI integrations and production-grade execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at Lead, Staff, Architect, or Principal level.
• Hands-on expertise in .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise app development.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture.
• Experience with legacy system modernization and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of system design, security, and enterprise workflows.
• Experience with Generative AI / LLM development, preferably Azure OpenAI, Foundry, RAG, AI Agents, or AI APIs.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and engineering decisions for complex enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to communicate technical solutions.
• Design and develop solutions using .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Architect cloud and hybrid solutions using Microsoft Azure, including networking, security, APIs, integrations, messaging, and deployment infrastructure.
• Design and support Azure-based enterprise and intranet environments.
• Lead modernization of legacy .NET, monolithic, and business-critical systems.
• Remain hands-on with coding, debugging, code reviews, POCs, and production issues.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction and standards.
