Job summary

Digifloat is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Azure) to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Islamabad, Pakistan. You will work closely with development, data, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of Azure-focused experience, strong CI/CD, IaC, containerization, and cloud security knowledge, with opportunities to mentor others and advance cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud/Infra roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Networking, load balancing, security groups, VPNs, and cloud security understanding.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security across cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.
• Ensure high availability, DR, backups, and business continuity.
• Collaborate with software teams to optimize deployments and releases.
• Implement security, compliance, and governance controls.
• Troubleshoot infra, networking, and deployment issues.
• Lead cloud optimization for performance, scale, and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and share DevOps best practices.
