Job summary

Techsurge Private Limited in Karachi seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to provision, maintain, troubleshoot and improve cloud platforms, with strong networking and security focus.

You will work with AKS, IaC, Terraform, Azure DevOps, PowerShell and ARM templates to automate deployments, monitor performance with Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and ensure compliant, secure production environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of working experience with Azure Microsoft Cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Cloud Infrastructure experience (network, security, compute, storage, databases and Kubernetes) in Azure.
• Understanding of Terraform & Azure DevOps.
• OS knowledge for Linux and Windows infrastructure.
• Experience in Azure Administration.
• PowerShell and Azure API knowledge.
• Azure management and control plane components (networking, RBAC, security policies).
• Experience with Cloud IaaS and PaaS.
• Capabilities in architecture, implementation and support.
• Cloud Monitoring and backup.
• On-time service delivery.
• Exposure to large-scale production environments.
• Azure, Network, Kubernetes and OS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provision, maintain, troubleshoot & improve Cloud Platform(s).
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Expert networking and infrastructure provisioning in cloud (networks, security, compute, storage, databases).
• Understand Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Analyze errors and define corrective measures.
• Ensure secure infrastructure and production stability and performance.
• Approve change execution.
• DR rehearsal & testing.
• Troubleshoot network and performance issues.
• Manage network ACLs and routes.
• Cleanup of snapshots.
• VM resizing (upsizing/downsizing).
• Track End-Of-Life Cloud services.
• Azure Backup and Site Recovery work.
• Health checks and decommissioning.
• Address cloud security vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Write scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates for automation.
• Ready for night shifts and weekends.
