Job summary

Power Cement Ltd in Pakistan is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for mining, electrical, and instrumentation materials, driving cost savings and supplier development in a manufacturing context.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation and supplier-management skills, and a track record in cement/mining industries. This on-site role offers growth within a dynamic cement manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement including RFQs, comparative statements, negotiations, approvals, and POs
• Manage sourcing of Mining/Quarry materials and Electrical & Instrumentation items
• Develop reliable suppliers and alternate sources to ensure supply continuity
• Coordinate with Mining, Electrical, Instrumentation, Maintenance, and Stores teams
• Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery commitments
• Drive cost savings, supplier development, and local sourcing opportunities
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, procurement policies, and Microsoft Dynamics AX

• 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in Cement, Mining, Quarry, or Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Mining/Quarry and Electrical procurement.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and communication skills.
