Job summary

Motive is seeking a Software Engineer — ML, Perception to advance intelligence in our fleet solutions. You will design and implement computer vision and ML features, targeting real-time performance on embedded devices and cloud integration.

You will work with researchers and engineers across CV, ML, robotics, and hardware teams to deliver scalable, production-ready AI systems. You will mentor peers, contribute to edge processing, and help deploy end-to-end product features across the Motive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of algorithm development experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning.
• Strong mathematical foundations in CV, DL, ML, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with training frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proficiency in Python or C++ and embedded algorithm development.
• Experience deploying ML models on cloud and embedded platforms (AWS, edge).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve performance of existing CV/ML models in production.
• Conduct research and experiments to build new AI models and algorithms.
• Build and optimize CV/ML algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms.
• Write Python and C++ code for CV algorithms, ML services, training, and deployment pipelines.
• Translate research prototypes into reliable product features.
• Collaborate with Embedded, Backend, Frontend, Hardware, QA, and AI teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex projects.
