Job summary

Elixir Chartered Tax Advisers & Accountants seeks a Senior Accountant to deliver high-quality, technology-driven accounting and advisory services for SME clients in Islamabad. You will manage portfolios, perform daily bookkeeping, and ensure VAT compliance under UK rules while maintaining data integrity.

The role combines traditional accounting expertise with leadership, systems knowledge, and financial analysis, delivering clear commentary and KPI insights to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACCA or Master’s in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent.
• Solid knowledge of FRS 102 1a and FRS 105.
• Strong general computing skills (MS Office).
• Analyze data to identify issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients.
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Apply UK VAT rules accurately.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain data integrity across software.
• Prepare financial accounts and balance sheet schedules.
• Deliver clear financial analysis and KPI insights.
