Prime System Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting for a designated portfolio and manage the month-end close. The role emphasizes accuracy of financial statements and strong experience with NetSuite in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and collaboration with departments to ensure records are precise and compliant. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 4–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles (cash and accrual).
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel required.
• Excellent communication and accuracy with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, complete reconciliations, and perform variance analysis to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve processes and financial performance.
• Ensure financial records adhere to regulatory standards.
• Maintain financial systems by coding transactions and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist external accounting firms with tax filing preparation.
• Support the annual financial statement audit process.
• Perform other duties as needed to support business operations.
