Motive is seeking an experienced underwriting professional to join the Risk Management team. You will review and assess the financial risk of new and existing customers, and make decisions based on policy guidelines. Collaboration with sales, data science, and product teams will be key to delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

The role requires 2–5 years of underwriting experience in financial services or fintech, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• 2-5 years of underwriting experience in financial services, high-growth payments, or fintech.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with U.S. compliance, lending & regulatory environment (KYC, Reg B, Reg Z, UDAAP, FCBA, TILA).

Aufgaben

• Review and assess financial risk of new and existing customers.
• Analyze financial statements, bank statements, and credit reports.
• Decide on approval, decline, or exceptions based on policy guidelines.
• Communicate application status with clients and sales.
• Develop and propose policy/process improvements to mitigate risk.
