Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the ideation, build and delivery of microservices and API gateway solutions aligned with business goals.

You will oversee BAU and modernization across BAW and microservices, guide cross-functional teams, and drive architecture governance, performance, and security across critical applications.

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of experience in end-to-end implementation and support of enterprise software.
• Hands-on with microservices architecture and frameworks listed (Spring Boot, ReactJS, J2EE).
• Experience with BPM tools like IBM BAW and Camunda, and API management tools.
• Strong DevOps knowledge and agile delivery across multiple projects.
• Experience in Agile project management and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diversified team delivering critical services with 24x7 support.
• Ensure stability and uptime of microservices across multiple locations.
• Oversee BAU handling and modernization across BAW and microservices.
• Design, build and document solutions and digital assets per MOFT standards.
• Guide change management, process definitions and cross-team coordination.
• Architect and implement microservices with governance and performance tuning.
• Drive data migrations, roadmaps and architecture blueprints.

Job description

Responsible to ideate, build and deliver solutions as per the business expectations. To be able to implement Projects with regards to BAW, Microservices & API gateway within the base-lined schedule, budget, and scope parameters. Should be handling the development & BAU by overseeing the quality and compliance controls. Must be keen upskill and explore innovative solutions as per the latest trends in the market.

Should have the hands on knowledge on BAW, Microservices, Devops, capable of multiple deliverables parallely.

Key Result Areas

• Manage a diversified team who are responsible for critical services delivery and support.
• Ensure adequate delivery & support for services as the entire operation is dependent on these applications with 24*7 support across multiple locations.
• Ensure Stability and uptime of microservices through regular review with infrastructure colleagues and monitoring
• To be able to lead the deliverables interacting with business units and have competency in Microservices , IBM BAW, and DevOps
• Should have the knowledge on BAU handling across the BAW and Microservices platforms, good analytical thinking to debug the production issue and fix the same avoiding any business impact
• Build and manage digital assets as part of the MOFT framework
• Responsible for Implementation of microservices for multiple teams across the organization.
• Ability to Estimate, propose, design, build & document solutions
• Analyze the existing system for the discovery of the core processes and rules involved so that the system could be converted to a workflow based framework applying the core principles of BAW
• Customize various legacy utilities to make it reusable and decouple from the monolithic architecture
• Model and developed microservices adhering to architecture standards
• Engage and carry out change management activities such as process definitions, implementations, user acquaintance. Have provided solution guidance, advisory services for various environments & systems, carried out process improvements by avoiding interdependencies on different support groups
• Experienced in developing application blueprints, roadmaps and data migration strategies
• Experience in trouble shooting performance issues, handling scalability , high availability
• Exposure to Agile Project management, Vendor management and commercial management

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• About 9 to 12 years of experience with End-to-End Implementation and various support Projects of Enterprise Software Applications.
• Has implementation exposure on microservices architecture using spring boot and frameworks like, Spring boot, Spring JDBC, JSPs and front end technologies like React JS, bootstrap, BPM technologies like BAW/BPM, Camunda, API Connect.
• Should be able to envision digital assets and align with the MOFT standards of implementation.
• Strong technical knowledge in the following: BPM tools like IBM BAW, Oracle DB ,WebLogic , WebSphere, Java, JSF,Ajax,J2EE,SOA, ESB ,JMS, Web Services, EJB, JAAS.
• Deep knowledge on technology solutions, operational process activities.
• Logical and analytical abilities in the decision making for optimal outcome.
• Thorough banking applications / functional knowledge.
